A warm welcome awaits you from Barbara and Felice, at this small family-run, 3-Star hotel which is situated in the heart of Pila.

all 31 rooms are comfortably furnished, with private bathrooms, hair dryers, colour TV, radio, drinks fridge, and direct-dial telephone lines.

The hotel offers its guests a large lounge, with an open fire to relax around after a hard days skiing, and a residents bar.

The residents restaurant serves both national and local cuisine.

There is an adjoining Pizzeria and Bar, with a traditional wood-burning pizza oven, which serves some of the best pizzas in the area. the Pizzeria has a friendly atmosphere and is open to non-residents.

The hotel has a sauna to ease away any ski aches, a gym and facial sun lamp. The ski store is situated within the hotel.

Outside there is a seating area with solarium and loungers, private parking and covered garage.

Single rooms, and rooms for 3 or 4 sharing are also available.

Hotel Lion Noir

This recently refurbished elegant hotel is situated just above the Pila-Aosta cable car station, on the edge of the Chamole piste. The hotel has wonderful views over Monte Bianco, the Grand-Combin and the Matterhorn.

All the bedrooms are en-suite with mini-bar, hairdryer, satellite TV and telephone. The hotel boasts an indoor pool, sauna, mini-gym, ski room and underground garage.

The Lion Noir is the perfect hotel to wind down after a hard days skiing. Enjoy a quiet dinner in thier elegant dining room, relax in the lounge or catch up with others and exchange ski tales in the vaulted bar.

Ciel Bleu Apartments - the cheap and cheerful option!

These basic studio apartments are situated at the start of Pila. The back door is a 7 minute stroll to the piste - or - a free shuttle bus leaves every half hour from the main entrance between. 8.30am - 5pm.

All the apartments have a private terrace with spectacular views over Monte Bianco and the Alps.

The apartments are clean, warm (underfloor heating) but very basic. All bed lined and towels are supplied.

The kitchen area has a sink, hob and fridge, with plenty of crockery and pans. Bathroom has either shower or bath, WC and bidet. The Apartments sleep 2-8 people. 6-day lift passes can be ordered and paid for when booking. A car is recommended as there are no ski deposits on the pistes.
